Newaygo
A picturesque Northern Michigan small town, Downtown Newaygo is home to many shops, boutiques, restaurants, sports bars, and cafes. Enjoy Sunday brunch and Bloody Mary’s at River Stop Café, grab a beer and pizza at Newaygo Brewing Company, or look for unique Michigan gifts at 37 North, just to name a few. Streamside Lodge is located near the edge of Newaygo’s city limits, just a mile from downtown.

Newaygo Farmers Market

Fremont Farmers Market

A popular community market about 15 minutes from the lodge with fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, and local makers
Rockford Farmers’ Market
(Saturdays)
About 40 minutes away and one of West Michigan’s best-known markets, offering a large selection of local produce, meats, baked goods, and specialty foods.
Nelson’s Farm Market
A beloved family-owned farm market featuring seasonal Michigan-grown produce, fresh-baked donuts and pies, homemade treats, a petting barn, and plenty of family-friendly charm.
Greater West Michigan
Head south to Grand Rapids to check out the city, which is about an hour drive from Streamside Lodge. Explore Beer City USA with its many breweries and restaurants, concert venues, sporting events, numerous orchards and vineyards, and a variety of family friendly activities including parks, zoos, and museums, fall color tours, and farmer’s markets.
Just 45–60 minutes from the lodge, the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan make an easy day trip. Spend the afternoon swimming, watching the sunset, climbing the dunes, or exploring charming beach towns like Whitehall, Pentwater, and Ludington.
